
You can use Total Recorder for recording streaming audio, Mic input, Line-in input as well as CDs and DVDs. The resulting files are saved on your computer's hard-drive. The system also allows users to schedule any number of future recordings!
This edition provides many powerful functions for the recording, converting, editing, and processing of sound. With the Video Add-on, you can record from any combination of video and audio sources.
Features : · Record sound being played by other computer programs (e.g. RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, Quick Time, WinAmp) including live Internet broadcasts. This feature is unique to Total Recorder and is not available in the vast majority of other sound recording programs;
· Convert different sound formats to WAVE format (plain or compressed) or MP3 format, providing you have a player capable of playing a particular format;
· Record Internet Telephony conversations - even full duplex;
· Record from any sound card input line. For example, you can record from CD or you can hook up a cassette player and record from it;
· "Pre-Record" facility;
· A built-in scheduler lets you schedule future recordings and playbacks. Or you can use Total Recorder’s command line options with an external scheduler such as Microsoft Task Scheduler.
What's New: · In addition to the number of minutes, you can now specify the number of seconds when splitting a file based on time.
· When using "Pause Reduction", you can specify the duration of preserved pauses after the reduction.
The batch processing feature has been extended as follows:
· Presets for your batch processing parameters can be saved and later reused.
· Pause reduction is supported.
· Batch processing of a folder or a list of files can be launched through the command line.
· Improved time calculation during the background recording of VBR MP3 streams.
· Other minor enhancements.
